Yes! Entrance is free, but food is for purchase at the food trucks and concession stands.
Can I use cash to purchase food?
No cash will be accepted at concession stands inside the diamond.
Can I bring a wagon/stroller into Catholic Fest?
Yes, wagons and strollers are allowed but will be searched upon entry. Please note that there is only one elevator in the Diamond.
Will confession be available?
Yes, confession will be available at Catholic Fest from 10am to 1pm in sections 214-216.
Can I bring my youth group?
Though teens can attend as a youth group, the event is open to everyone- families of all ages, young adults, and retirees! Youth groups can attend together, or teens can come with their families and meet up at the event. Parishes who bring a youth separately from their families should collect permission forms from parents/guardians and keep that information with them as they would at any other events. No youth forms should be submitted to Diocesan offices.
Is Mass a Vigil Mass?
Yes. We have gotten approval from the Bishop that the 3pm Mass on the field will be a Vigil Mass and fills the Sunday obligation.
What is the difference between Catholic Fest and the Young Adult Mixer?
The Pre-Fest Young Adult Mixer will happen the night before Catholic Fest at the Cathedral. Registration is $30 and includes food & drinks. Catholic Fest is free to attend and does not require registration, but food & drink are available for purchase.
Parking attendants will be present to direct cars. General and bus parking is in the Green Lot. Vendors, exhibitors, clergy, and handicap parking is in the Red Lot. All parking within The Diamond is free of charge.
What is the water bottle policy at The Diamond?
You can bring an empty water bottle to fill at the water stations located in the concourse. Sealed, full bottles are not permitted, but you can purchase water bottles or other drinks at concessions.
What is the bag policy at The Diamond?
The following bag policies, as set by Minor League Baseball, are in place for all Flying Squirrels games and events at The Diamond.
Diaper bags and medical bags are the only exceptions to the clear bag policy. All bags are subject to be searched.
Can I bring food and snacks into The Diamond?
No, only diaper bags can hold food for infants, but no other food or snacks are allowed through the gates. Food and snacks may be eaten outside in the parking lots.
Are there any dietary options for the concessions and food trucks?
We'll have gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options available at the 3rd base concession. Many of our food trucks will be dietary-need friendly, but there may be a chance of cross-contamination.
Can I bring food for my infant/children?
Food for infants/small children can be brought in a diaper bag, but all diaper bags are subject to be searched upon entry.
